Bongani Mountain Lodge is situated in the 8000-hectare (19 800-acre) Mthethomusha Game Reserve, bordering the world-famous Kruger National Park in South Africa. Lion, leopard, rhino, elephant and buffalo walk ancient paths once used by the San (Bushman) people. Over 250 San rock art paintings, estimated to be 1 500-years-old, are found in the Reserve – the greatest concentration of rock art per square metre on earth.

Kwandwe Private Game Reserve lies in the heart of South Africa’s malaria-free Eastern Cape near Grahamstown, and is a natural conclusion to a journey along the world-famous Garden Route. Camps Bay is one of the most popular and most expensive suburbs in Cape Town. The reason is its stunning location at the foot of the majestic Twelve Apostles, a mountain range belonging to the Table Mountain range, and its proximity to the centre of town, via the spectacular Kloof Nek road.

Camps Bay is the place for urban beach life. The fine white sand is - especially over the weekends and during the holidays - packed with young people. The sea is, due to the protected position in the bay, quite calm and - in summer - good for swimming. At the southern end, there is a seawater pool.

Nestled in historic Simon's Town in South Africa, Boulders Penguin Colony is part of the Cape Peninsula National Park. Almost 3000 African (jackass) penguins, so called because their call resembles the bray of a donkey, reign supreme amidst rounded rocks and fish-filled False Bay. These endangered, flightless birds are free to roam the seas and return to their private haven.
